Ann Robinson played Joey's school
teacher in the series. She always seemed to show up and
help Jim out when Joey got hurt, which was quite often.
Ann grew up in the shadows of the
Hollywood studios. As a native Californian, Ann acted in
grade school and fibbed her way into the show business
circut as a stunt woman. Although she played in several
movies, her only leading role was in "War Of The
Worlds" a George Pal production.
It is said she ran off to Mexico in
1957 to marry a matador Jaime Bravo. They had a son Jaime
who became an ABC sports director and has won several
emmys. She remarried in 1987 to a real estate broker. You
may find her frequenting the sci-fi and autograph shows.
